This Privacy Policy explains how Michal Kalinowski (“we”, “us”) handles personal data for the Dream Chimp app and this website.
1. Privacy first
Dream Chimp uses only minimal, privacy-focused analytics for the website and minimal pseudonymous telemetry for the app. We do not use analytics for advertising or cross-site tracking.
2. Data we process
Website analytics
This website uses Simple Analytics to measure aggregate traffic and page usage. According to Simple Analytics’ documentation, it does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not create personal identifiers for visitors.
Website analytics may include non-personal, aggregate information such as:

- referrers
- browser, device type, and language
- country-level or time-zone-based location information
App telemetry
Dream Chimp may send pseudonymous product telemetry from the app to help us detect bugs, regressions, and product issues, including:
- pseudonymous install identifier (the server stores only a hash)
- app version
- platform
This data is used to improve the app and website and is not used to identify you personally.
Dream Chimp does not collect:
- user accounts
- personal profiles
- location data
- advertising identifiers

Where the GDPR applies, we process data under the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests: to secure, operate, and improve Dream Chimp using minimal analytics.
- Legal obligations: where required by applicable law (for example accounting/tax records)
4. Service providers
We use service providers that help us operate Dream Chimp, including:
- Simple Analytics for privacy-focused website analytics
- PostHog for minimal pseudonymous app telemetry
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices, and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
5. International processing
Website analytics data collected by Simple Analytics is hosted in the EU according to its documentation. App telemetry and other operational data may be processed outside your country as needed to operate the service, subject to appropriate safeguards where applicable.
6. Data Retention
Data is kept only as long as necessary for product improvement, security, or legal obligations.
Where possible, data is deleted or de-identified.
